The base is the familiar Giulia Quadrifoglio, but in the Luna Rossa version, engineers have taken it to a whole new level. The cabin features exclusive trim: gray center seat inserts, black side bolsters, and a red stripe running through the middle.
Power and Sound
Under the hood is the same time-tested 520-horsepower V6 biturbo paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential. However, it now features a new Akrapovic exhaust system, giving the car a distinctive sound. Official acceleration figures have not been released, but with improved aerodynamics, performance is expected to be even more impressive. The base version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and there is reason to believe that the Luna Rossa can do even better.
Interestingly, despite all the upgrades, the top speed remains unchanged at 300 km/h. This suggests that the engineers prioritized handling and high-speed stability over chasing speed records. This project is one of the first under the new BOTTEGAFUORISERIE program, which Alfa Romeo is developing in collaboration with Maserati.
