Porsche Unveils Electric Cayenne: Cutting-Edge Tech and Record-Breaking Power

Cayenne Electric and Turbo Electric: Porsche’s Revolutionary Electric SUVs Now Open for Orders

Porsche has launched electric versions of the Cayenne featuring record power and impressive range. The new models are already available for pre-order. Discover what sets these new crossovers apart and when deliveries will begin.

Porsche Unveils Electric Cayenne Crossovers: Cayenne Electric and Turbo Electric Debut

In 2025, Porsche introduced two all-electric versions of its popular Cayenne crossover. The new models are named Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. Both versions feature all-wheel drive and boast impressive technical specifications, setting a new benchmark for the brand in the electric vehicle segment.

The base model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. Depending on the selected power mode, the car delivers between 403 and 436 horsepower. This acceleration and performance make it one of the fastest in its class.

Turbo Electric Flagship: Setting New Power Standards

The top-of-the-line Turbo Electric has caused the biggest stir. This crossover sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, rivaling sports supercars. Its top speed reaches 260 km/h. Standard output is 857 horsepower, but with the Push-to-Pass system engaged, power soars to nearly 1,140 horsepower. This is an all-time record for Porsche vehicles, highlighting the brand’s ambitious push into electric mobility.

Both versions are equipped with 113 kWh batteries. The Cayenne Electric offers a range of up to 642 kilometers, while the Turbo Electric provides up to 623 kilometers on a single charge. Such figures make these vehicles suitable not only for city driving but also for long-distance trips without frequent charging stops.

Innovation and New Features: Wireless Charging and Sales Launch

For the first time in the brand’s history, both models are equipped with wireless charging. This innovation significantly simplifies the recharging process, making the operation of the electric vehicle even more convenient. Porsche notes that the introduction of this technology marks an important step in the evolution of the entire lineup.

Pre-orders for the new Cayenne Electric and Turbo Electric are now open. The base version starts at $111,350, while the flagship Turbo Electric will cost at least $165,350. First deliveries are scheduled for summer 2026, giving fans plenty of time to prepare for these new models hitting the road.

Prospects and significance for the electric vehicle market

The launch of the electric Cayenne marks a new chapter for Porsche and the entire premium electric SUV segment. Outstanding power, increased range, and the latest technologies make these cars among the most anticipated releases of the year. Experts believe that the arrival of Cayenne Electric and Turbo Electric could shake up the market and set new standards for competitors.

Thus, Porsche is not only expanding its lineup of electric vehicles, but also reaffirming its position as a leader in innovation and performance. Interest in the new models is expected to be high, both among long-time brand enthusiasts and those considering switching to electric cars.
