María Valverde in a Burgundy Dress and Spanish Jewelry

A Royal Choice by María Valverde: Actress Wears Monarch-Inspired Outfit

Actress María Valverde attended a concert accompanied by her husband. Her outfit attracted widespread attention. The look was complemented by exquisite Spanish jewelry.

2025 is shaping up to be an exceptionally successful year for María Valverde. One of the most internationally recognized Spanish actresses, she recently celebrated her directorial debut. Her documentary, “El canto de las manos,” tells the story of three deaf Venezuelan musicians performing Beethoven’s opera ‘Fidelio’. The premiere was held at the Málaga Film Festival, where the native of Madrid’s Carabanchel district once again confirmed her status as a style icon. Her recent public appearance was no exception: accompanied by her husband Gustavo Dudamel, she attended a symphonic concert in Los Angeles, once again demonstrating impeccable taste.

The event took place at the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic (LA Phil). This occasion was especially significant for the couple, as Gustavo Dudamel served as music director of this world-renowned orchestra from 2009 to 2023. Such an important event called for an appropriate dress code. The Venezuelan conductor opted for a classic tuxedo with a bow tie, while his companion went for elegance and the latest trends.

María Valverde appeared in a long dress of deep burgundy—a shade that has become an absolute hit this autumn. Interestingly, many royal women chose this color during the coronation of Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg on October 3. The actress’s halter-neck gown flattered her figure, with tied ribbons at the neck elegantly draping down her bare back. Draping at the waist and a golden decorative plate at the hips added a touch of glamour to her look. This creation by Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi, the Aiko model priced at 1,450 euros, is a signature piece of the brand and is available in various colors and even with a floral print.

As for accessories, the actress chose jewelry from the Spanish house PDPAOLA. This brand, founded in 2014 by siblings Paola and Humbert Sasplugas, is especially popular with Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor. María wore the Orbit teardrop-shaped ring made of recycled silver with 18-karat gold plating (99 euros), the Cuarzo Gravity ring with two stones (159 euros), as well as long Olga hoop earrings with zircons (99 euros), which perfectly complemented her elegant look.
