Charred Body Found at Mysterious Fire Site in Oliva

The Mystery of Beatriz Guijarro's Disappearance: What Is Hidden on La Creu Mountain – Shocking Details

A charred body has been discovered near Oliva, which may belong to missing Beatriz Guijarro. The young woman’s family does not believe she left voluntarily. The investigation is ongoing, while locals speculate about the causes of the tragedy.

In the small town of Oliva, in the province of Valencia, a real drama is unfolding. In early September, hikers in the nearby mountains came across remains that had been almost completely destroyed by fire. Preliminary analysis suggests they may belong to 29-year-old Beatriz Guijarro, who went missing in August.

The location where the body was found is known locally as La Creu mountain. It’s just a few minutes from Oliva’s residential neighborhoods, home to about 26,000 people. Beatriz’s family is convinced she could not have left on her own, as she had two small children at home and there were no signs of a voluntary disappearance.

The last time the woman was seen was by a security camera in the early hours of August 9. At first, she appeared walking past the bar “Amigos del pueblo,” and a while later, she was recorded again, this time in different clothes and with a phone in her hand. According to her boyfriend, they had broken up shortly before, after which Beatriz supposedly headed home. However, it later emerged that she had visited her mother’s relative, where she stayed late into the night.

The discovery of the body coincided with another strange detail: a fire broke out at this very spot on September 4. Investigators believe the blaze was not accidental and may have been caused by a dispute between neighbors. Initially, no one linked this incident to the woman’s disappearance. Now, investigators are trying to determine whether the body was hidden there before the fire or brought to the site after heavy rains recently hit the area.

Conversations in Oliva show no sign of stopping: residents remain alarmed, and Beatriz’s family is waiting for answers. The investigation is ongoing, with more questions than answers at this stage. Locals hope the truth will soon come to light and that those responsible will be held accountable.
