City in Navarre Found to Have the Most Affordable Apartments for Sale

Where in Navarre can you buy a spacious apartment for under 79,000 euros? An unexpected leader in the region’s real estate market

The issue of housing affordability in Navarre is becoming increasingly challenging as prices continue to rise. However, in one of the region’s cities, it is still possible to find spacious apartments priced under €79,000. This locality stands out for its accessibility and unique atmosphere.

In recent years, buying a home in Navarra has become a real challenge for many families. The average price per square meter in the region has already approached 1,800 euros, making it nearly impossible for most residents to afford an apartment. However, amidst the general price surge, there is one city where property prices remain surprisingly low.

We are talking about Corella, located in the south of the Ribera region. Here, it is possible to find spacious apartments at a price that seems incredible compared to the rest of Navarra—less than 79,000 euros per property. The average price per square meter in Corella is around 960 euros, which is almost half the regional level. The difference with other cities in the region reaches up to 800 euros per square meter, making Corella the most advantageous option for buying property.

For comparison, in Pamplona the price per square meter has already exceeded 2,900 euros, and in Tudela it is around 1,700 euros. Even in cities like Egüés and Zizur Mayor, prices are much higher than in Corella. This fact draws the attention of those looking not only to save money, but also to live in a calm and authentic place.

On specialized property websites, you may come across listings that can only be described as unique. For example, a three-bedroom apartment with a floor area of 105 square meters is offered for sale at €78,774. The property is located on Pascual Pérez Oñate street, is over fifty years old, and requires renovation, but the price per square meter does not exceed €750. Such options are a true find for those willing to invest in refurbishment to get a spacious home at a minimal cost.

However, Corella attracts attention not only for its low property prices. The city is renowned for its rich Baroque heritage, which can be felt at every turn. Among its architectural gems are the church of San Miguel, the monastery of Nuestra Señora de Araceli, and the Arrese Museum of Sacred Art. The atmosphere of the old streets, cozy squares, and vibrant cultural life make Corella appealing not only to property buyers but also to tourists.

Potential homeowners in Corella appreciate not just the savings, but also the opportunity to become part of an active community with rich traditions and a strong gastronomic scene. The city is increasingly popular among those tired of the hustle and bustle of big cities and looking for peace, safety, and a unique local identity. As housing prices continue to rise in the region, Corella stands out as a sensible alternative for those seeking both affordability and quality of life.
