The municipality of Brihuega, in the province of Guadalajara, has been experiencing a tense atmosphere for several days. The reason is a bull that unexpectedly broke loose during a traditional festival in the village of Romancos. Since then, the animal has not been found, and the search has continued for five days.
Local authorities have expressed concern. Residents of Brihuega and nearby villages are strongly advised to exercise maximum caution, especially in rural areas and on country roads. Officials recommend temporarily avoiding outdoor walks and sports activities to reduce the risk of encountering the agitated animal.
The bull escaped last Saturday during a festival involving animals in Romancos. Despite the organizers’ efforts, one of the bulls managed to break through the enclosure and disappeared into the surrounding fields. Since then, no one has seen the animal, and attempts to track it down have so far been unsuccessful.
The Brihuega municipality maintains ongoing communication with relevant services and promises to keep the public informed of any developments through official channels. For now, residents are urged to remain cautious and wait until the search comes to a successful conclusion.
