KGM has unveiled an updated version of its fully electric SUV, the Torres EVX, maintaining its previous price of €34,500. The model now features a next-generation battery, significantly increasing its driving range without any extra cost to buyers.
The main upgrade is the installation of a BYD Blade Battery, a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 80.6 kWh. Thanks to this, the SUV can now travel more than 500 kilometers in mixed driving conditions and up to 664 kilometers in the city. Fast charging at 120 kW allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just half an hour, making it especially convenient for active users.
A 152 kW (207 hp) electric motor with 339 Nm of torque delivers dynamic acceleration and confident performance on any road. The SUV retains its off-road capabilities, making it a versatile choice for both city driving and travel.
The manufacturer has emphasized reliability: the Torres EVX now comes with an extended warranty—7 years or 150,000 kilometers for the vehicle, and 10 years or 1,000,000 kilometers for the battery. This approach sets the model apart from competitors and reduces risks for owners.
Inside, the SUV features two 12.3-inch digital displays, combining the dashboard and multimedia system. The spacious trunk, offering 839 liters of cargo space (expandable to 1,662 liters with the rear seats folded), makes the vehicle practical for family trips and long journeys.
The Torres EVX is available in two trims — Trend and Life. Even the base version comes equipped with LED headlights featuring automatic adjustment, daytime running lights, steering wheel-mounted paddles for regenerative braking, intelligent adaptive cruise control, as well as a keyless entry and engine start system.
Safety is ensured by eight airbags and the ADAS electronic assist package, which includes 19 functions ranging from lane keeping to automatic braking and collision prevention. The system can detect obstacles, adjust speed, and correct the vehicle’s trajectory.
The updated Torres EVX strengthens KGM’s position in the electric vehicle market, offering a combination of extended range, modern features, and a long-term warranty without a price increase. This approach makes the model attractive to those seeking a reliable and technologically advanced electric car at a reasonable cost.
