Inspections in Usera: dangerous services and lack of licenses
In the Usera district of the capital, municipal police uncovered three illegal centers offering cosmetic and medical services without the necessary permits. During raids, it was found that staff lacked specialized education and sanitary regulations were ignored. The premises showed signs of unsanitary conditions, with animals and spoiled food present, posing additional risks to visitors.
Violations in medicine and cosmetology
At one of the centers specializing in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, diagnoses were made and medications were prescribed without any medical qualifications. During the inspection, police found bags of unmarked pills with no instructions, which were mixed and sold to clients. Among the seized drugs were potent medications, including methylprednisolone, used for severe allergies and cancer patients.
Advertisements for banned procedures and uncertified equipment
At another establishment, procedures requiring a medical license—such as removal of neoplasms, tattoos, lipolaser treatments, and more—were actively promoted on social media. The inspection revealed banned cosmetic products, equipment lacking European certification, and unqualified personnel. Dozens of medicines and cosmetics were seized, as well as laser devices that did not meet safety standards.
Operating After License Revocation and Repeated Violations
The third center continued operating even after its official license was revoked. The establishment offered microblading, tattoos, hyaluronic acid injections, and other procedures without sanitary oversight. Police documented the reuse of needles, storage of expired and improperly labeled medications, as well as the use of uncertified equipment. Hundreds of units of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, including anesthetics and injectable products, were seized in total.
Authorities’ Response and Next Steps
All three establishments were immediately shut down, and the case materials were forwarded to the appropriate authorities for further investigation. Officials emphasize that such violations pose a serious threat to public health and require strict oversight. Thanks to swift action, potential complications for clients were prevented and illegal activities in the beauty industry were halted.
