Technology and engine

Under the hood is a 3.9-liter V8 from the F154 family, producing 640 hp at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. The maximum revs reach 7,600 rpm. The transmission is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. Technical innovations include a turbo management system with independent turbine speed control, allowing the turbines to spin up to 171,000 rpm. Thanks to these features, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and to 200 km/h in 9.4 seconds. Top speed is 320 km/h. The car weighs 1,556 kg, with a weight distribution of 48% front and 52% rear.

When it comes to dynamics, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider relies on the brand’s latest technology: brake-by-wire brakes, adaptive ABS Evo, and the Side Slip Control 6.1 system, which coordinates all electronic aids for maximum stability. Drivers can choose from five drive modes using the signature Manettino switch: Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race, and ESC-Off. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition.

Practicality and rivals

Unlike many supercars, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider does not sacrifice comfort for speed. Its spacious trunk and thoughtfully designed interior make it suitable not only for track days but also for long journeys.
