Accounts linked to Blocus are circulating calls for Saturday 31 October in Madrid and Barcelona, with Málaga also named. Police are tracking posts as they move from TikTok into private messaging groups, where times and locations remain inconsistent.

The earlier disturbances in central Barcelona left 128 people detained, including 72 minors, or 56% of those arrested, and 15 officers injured. Four officers were seriously hurt. Mossos d'Esquadra identified around 450 people, while about 25 shops were looted. Barcelona City Council’s operational figures recorded 23 vandalised establishments and estimated damage to public assets at €36,000. The operation involved 295 Mossos d'Esquadra officers and 229 Barcelona city police officers; firefighters attended 33 fires. The city also recorded 68 incidents involving knives, sprays, balaclavas, firecrackers, stones or similar objects. Only two detainees had a previous public-order record.

By 26 October, subsequent reporting put the arrest total at 130. Prosecutors sought closed detention for six minors and supervised measures for 29 others, including restrictions on attending demonstrations. About 40 of the 54 detained adults had appeared in court. Catalonia’s interior minister, Núria Parlon, said authorities intended to seek urgent judicial authorisation to identify and close TikTok, Социальная сеть and messaging accounts allegedly used to organise the Barcelona gathering.

Police are now monitoring new calls for Saturday 31 October. The posts cite several Spanish locations, but conflicting times and meeting points do not establish that every gathering will take place or that a single organisation is coordinating them.

In Madrid, some posts name plaza de España at 18.00, while others put the meeting there an hour later. Separate messages point to Puerta del Sol from 17.00. The lack of a shared time leaves the calls fragmented.

Barcelona posts cite plaza de Cataluña at 17.00 and paseo de Gracia near Casa Milà at 20.00. Other messages point to San Pedro de Alcántara in Málaga and to Algeciras in Cádiz. Some Algeciras posts connect the call with Halloween and mention costumes and materials to animate the gathering.

The calls circulate on TikTok accounts including @blocusmanifestacionmdrz and @blocusespanol. Posts direct users to private WhatsApp* (принадлежит Metа, которая признана экстремистской организацией и запрещена в РФ) or Telegram groups for further instructions. One Telegram channel, «Blocus BCN», requires users to request access and wait for an administrator to approve them. Investigators have also sought judicial authority to identify the people operating social-media and messaging profiles linked to the Barcelona call.

The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating who organised the Barcelona call and whether the digital profiles that promoted it were connected to people involved in the unrest. Investigators are tracing messages and seeking to identify administrators; they are also examining whether there was prior coordination to trigger looting. The inquiry remains open.

The Policía Nacional is tracking the new calls as well. Their move into closed messaging groups makes it harder to establish who is coordinating them and what information is being shared. RUSSPAIN has separately reported on a Mpox death in Euskadi.
