In Galicia, starting May 27 at 9:00 a new round of the 'Activa Comercio' program will launch, aimed at supporting local shops. According to the order published Tuesday in the Diario Oficial de Galicia, residents of the region will be able to receive a digital shopping voucher via the website https://bonosactivacomercio.gal. The total campaign budget is limited to 2.5 million euros—once these funds are depleted, downloading and using new vouchers will be suspended.
Each participant can request only one voucher, which is provided as a QR code for a mobile application. The maximum total discount is 30 euros, but no more than 15 euros per purchase. The discount amount depends on the purchase value: for receipts from 20 to 29.99 euros the discount is 5 euros, from 30 to 49.99 euros—10 euros, and for purchases of 50 euros or more—15 euros. Vouchers cannot be combined with other similar offers for the same purchase.
Authorities emphasize that the program is designed to stimulate immediate demand in small businesses. The number of users is unlimited, but after the allocated budget is fully spent, even unused vouchers will become invalid. This rule was introduced to control expenditures and ensure equal access to discounts.
This year, the campaign is supplemented by a prize draw: among users who make purchases with the bonus and fulfill the requirements on Xunta's official TikTok and Instagram accounts, four additional bonuses of 250 euros will be raffled. These prizes will also be issued in digital format and are valid for one week in participating stores. To enter, it is necessary not only to use the bonus, but also to engage with the campaign’s social media posts, as outlined in the terms published in the Diario Oficial de Galicia.
