Fiat has added a Tributo Autobianchi edition to the Pandina, with a black tailgate recalling the Y10 and exclusive 15-inch alloy wheels. Cream trim and 'quadrettoni' microfibre bring the tribute into the cabin.
The Y10 was the last model in Autobianchi’s range, and its black tailgate is now the clearest historical reference on the Fiat Pandina Tributo Autobianchi. FIAT presented the special edition on 21 October 2026 as the top-of-range Pandina version, with distinctive exterior and cabin details. FIAT marks exactly 30 years between the registration of the last Autobianchi Y10 and production of the first Pandina Tributo Autobianchi.
Fiat founded Autobianchi in 1955 with Bianchi, the bicycle maker; Pirelli was also a founding partner. The Primula helped lay some foundations for the modern car, while the A112 Abarth became an icon of affordable performance. In 1995, when the Y10 was the marque’s only model, the Fiat Group integrated Autobianchi into Lancia. Presented in 1985, the Y10 used a platform derived from the Fiat Panda, pairing compact-car architecture with more sophisticated styling and finishes.
The Pandina’s exclusive Platino paint shifts between gold and silver tones in sunlight. Its black tailgate echoes the Y10 of the 1980s. The edition badge, including Autobianchi’s final logo, appears on the rear-door protectors and the centre caps of the exclusive 15-inch alloy wheels. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the wheels have a diamond-finished treatment and that the doors carry decals bearing the “Tributo Autobianchi” series name.
Inside, cream replaces the exterior’s golden tones across the dashboard and microfibre upholstery, which uses Autobianchi’s 'quadrettoni' pattern. The multimedia screen and instrument display show the edition emblems when the car is unlocked and the engine starts. The Pandina Tributo Autobianchi is a commemorative version within FIAT’s existing range, not a new Autobianchi model line. The edition focuses on styling, unlike Chery’s Mobo robot announcement, which concerned a household product.
