Forster has launched the latest generation of its Vantasy campervan series for the 2027 season, with practical upgrades and a German-market starting price of €48,900. Built on the Fiat Ducato platform, the range combines three layouts with revised interior features. Dealer listings also show how prices vary by model and configuration: Reisemobilforum.de lists the 5.99-meter V 599 HB Livin Up Pro with four seats and three berths from €43,690, while the 6.36-meter Vantasy 636 EB, also with four seats and three berths, starts at €52,500.
The updated range comes in three layouts: the compact V 599 HB, measuring 5.99 meters and featuring a rear transverse bed, plus two 6.36-meter versions, the V 636 EB with twin beds and the V 636 HB with bunk beds at the back. All models share a width of 2.05 meters and a height of 2.65 meters; their maximum authorized mass is 3,500 kg. The entry-level V 599 HB comes with a 120 hp engine, while the larger variants start at 140 hp. Options include a 160 hp diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A pop-up roof with a panoramic skylight is available for those needing extra sleeping space. Forster’s 2027 technical documentation is also linked from the dealer listing.
Expanded Kitchen and Interior
One of the biggest changes is the redesigned kitchen, which offers 50% more workspace through a continuous countertop and a pull-out extension. It comes with a two-burner stove and an 84-liter fridge, plus a multifunctional wall, making it better suited to extended trips or full-time living. Storage has also improved: upper cabinets are now 16 centimeters deeper, while new compartments above the rear doors and in the cab make better use of available space.
Flexible Bathroom and Storage Solutions
The new Vario bathroom has a rotating shower screen, allowing the same space to serve as a shower or as a toilet and washbasin area, without a fixed cabin. The design frees up floor space when the bathroom is not in use. At the rear, foldable bed bases with gas struts make it easier to access the cargo area. The V 636 EB also has pull-out boxes under the beds, making luggage easier to organize and reach. The interior pairs light natural wood with handleless cream cabinet doors; dark accent strips, soft upholstery and ambient lighting complete the modern, comfortable feel.
Standard Equipment and Options
Standard features include flush windows and a 4 kW diesel heater. The fresh water tank holds 85 liters, while the waste water tank holds 90 liters. The optional New idea Line package adds automatic climate control and an electric parking brake, along with digital instruments and wireless charging. It also includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist and 16-inch alloy wheels. For cold climates, the Arctic Line package offers a Combi D6E heater and an insulated, heated waste water tank. The €48,900 starting price excludes some engine options, the automatic transmission, the pop-up roof and optional packages. Prices for these extras and availability in Spain have not yet been confirmed.
