Forster has introduced its updated Vantasy camper range for 2027, built on the Fiat Ducato and starting at €48,900 in Germany. The new models offer a larger kitchen, improved storage, diesel heating, and a versatile bathroom design.
Forster has launched the latest generation of its Vantasy campervan series, targeting the 2027 season with a focus on practical upgrades and competitive pricing. Built on the Fiat Ducato platform, the new Vantasy models start at €48,900 in Germany, positioning them below the typical price threshold for this segment despite a host of new features.
The updated range is available in three layouts: the compact V 599 HB at 5.99 meters with a rear transverse bed, and two 6.36-meter versions—the V 636 EB with twin beds and the V 636 HB featuring bunk beds at the back. All models share a width of 2.05 meters, a height of 2.65 meters, and a maximum authorized mass of 3,500 kg. The entry-level V 599 HB comes with a 120 hp engine, while the larger variants start at 140 hp, with options for a 160 hp diesel and an eight-speed automatic transmission. For those needing extra sleeping space, a pop-up roof with a panoramic skylight is available.
Expanded Kitchen and Interior
One of the most significant changes is the redesigned kitchen, which now offers 50% more workspace thanks to a continuous countertop and a pull-out extension. The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner stove, an 84-liter fridge, and a multifunctional wall, making it more suitable for extended trips or full-time living. Storage has also been improved, with upper cabinets now 16 centimeters deeper and new compartments above the rear doors and in the cab, maximizing every available space.
Flexible Bathroom and Storage Solutions
The new Vario bathroom stands out for its rotating shower screen, allowing the same space to serve as a shower, toilet, or washbasin area without a fixed cabin. This design frees up floor space when the bathroom is not in use. In the rear, foldable bed bases with gas struts make it easier to access the cargo area. The V 636 EB adds pull-out boxes under the beds, simplifying luggage organization and access. The interior design features light natural wood, handleless cream cabinet doors, dark accent strips, soft upholstery, and ambient lighting for a modern, comfortable feel.
Standard Equipment and Options
Standard features include flush windows, a 4 kW diesel heater, an 85-liter fresh water tank, and a 90-liter waste water tank. The optional Innovation Line package adds automatic climate control, an electric parking brake, digital instruments, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, and 16-inch alloy wheels. For cold climates, the Arctic Line package offers a Combi D6E heater and an insulated, heated waste water tank. The base price does not include all engine options, the automatic transmission, pop-up roof, or optional packages. Pricing for these extras and availability in Spain have not yet been confirmed.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information, Forster recommends consulting their official configurator or an authorized dealer. As the campervan market continues to evolve, the new Vantasy range aims to balance affordability with practical upgrades, making it a notable entry for those considering a new camper in the coming years.
