Fabrizio Giugiaro’s 2+2 pairs an unpainted copper body with rear gullwing doors, and sits on a Maserati GranTurismo base. The one-off honours owner Carlos Peralta’s daughters; no price was announced.

At Mexico’s Pastejé Automotive Invitational on October 24, 2026, visitors saw the Peralta D’s rear gullwing doors open onto a 2+2 cabin. The one-off was designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro for Mexican collector and businessman Carlos Peralta. It is the second reported bespoke project GFG Style has created for Peralta.

The letter D comes from «donne», Italian for women, and the car honours Peralta’s daughters. Its wedge-shaped profile and glass-heavy canopy recall the earlier GFG Style Peralta S, an aluminum-bodied design based on the mid-engined Maserati MC20. On the S, the roof and windscreen lifted to provide access in place of conventional doors; the D instead adapts front-engined Maserati GranTurismo mechanicals for a four-seat layout. Fabrizio Giugiaro said the project grew from the creative relationship established with Peralta during development of the S, and continued that design journey using copper.

On the D, the rear gullwing doors create a dramatic entrance, though the opening still requires passengers to contort themselves to get inside. The lower body is hand-hammered copper, left exposed rather than conventionally painted, while mirrored glass across the upper section creates a continuous appearance. A dome-like roof and integrated lighting complete the design, with small carbon-fibre sections on the front and rear bumpers. Motor1 also noted a styling reference to the De Tomaso Mangusta’s door treatment.

GFG Style says the car uses an aluminum chassis and mechanical underpinnings based on the Maserati GranTurismo, with a carbon-fibre support structure carrying the copper body panels. The engine is identified in technical descriptions as Maserati’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, but no confirmed Peralta D-specific output figure has been published. The project follows GFG Style’s founding in Turin in 2015 by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, after their departure from Italdesign. It remains a single collector commission rather than a production launch or a Maserati showroom model. RUSSPAIN.COM has also covered a separate bespoke project in its Sentra concept report.

No price was announced at the time of the presentation.
