Faye's equipment includes a serpent bow that can shift into a snake-like form. It has two firing options: Precise Mode and Without Aiming Mode. Different scales change its statistics, and players can unlock more abilities during the adventure.

God of War: Laufey is still scheduled to launch on 16 February 2027. PlayStation has confirmed this date alongside the start of reservations.

PlayStation has also confirmed several armour options and other equipment for the protagonist. The list includes the sword blade, scales and upgrades for the serpent bow, plus catalysts that channel the magic of the Omnitiempo.
This adds detail to the gameplay shown during the June State of Play. The physical and digital release plans remain unchanged.
Reservations cover the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. Both versions include the same reservation bonuses: the Last Wish armour set, the Golden Leaves appearance for Phranque and a package of in-game resources. The PlayStation Blog says both editions receive these items.

The Digital Deluxe Edition adds the Dark Alchemy armour set, the Dark Alchemy sword, Dark Alchemy serpent bow scales or upgrades and a Dark Alchemy catalyst. Buyers also receive an in-game resource package, a digital mini art book and the official digital soundtrack.
