The La Primitiva draw on Saturday, August 22, 2026, produced the winning combination 45, 34, 30, 49, 5 and 22. The complementary number was 46, and the reintegro was 8. SELAE publishes dated results pages for individual lottery draws, listing the basic numbers alongside the complementary number and reintegro.
Information from LA VERDAD, the Joker number for this draw was 8352771. Joker is an additional game available for an extra euro, with seven prize categories based on matching the seven-digit sequence, from the full number to a matching digit at either end. It offers a separate way to win alongside the basic La Primitiva combination.
La Primitiva has five basic prize categories, rewarding players who match six numbers; five numbers plus the complementary number; five numbers; four numbers; or three numbers. The reintegro operates separately, returning the stake when the ticket’s final digit matches. The largest prizes go to the rarest winning combinations.
Players can choose between simple and multiple bets. A simple bet allows up to eight combinations, each consisting of six numbers selected from 1 to 49. With a multiple bet, players select more than six numbers, generating additional combinations and raising the cost. Bets can be placed online through the official Loterías y Apuestas del Estado website, where players can also select their reintegro number. Each combination costs €1.
Prizes can be claimed from the day after the draw. Those under €2,000 are available at authorized lottery retailers, while larger prizes must be collected through financial institutions designated by SELAE. The claim period is three months from the day after the draw. Prizes not claimed by the deadline are forfeited.
LA VERDAD notes that only the official results published by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado are legally valid. The dramatic return of Victorino Martín to Málaga's bullring, where Manuel Escribano was injured but continued his performance, was covered in detail in this report.
La Primitiva is one of Spain’s oldest lotteries, with origins in the 18th century. The state-owned Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) operates the game and publishes draw results. Its six-number format and the additional Joker game offer players distinct ways to take part. Draws are held on Saturday nights.
