A 51-year-old man died and a 60-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a motorcycle hit a goat on the N-340 near Gualchos. The crash was reported at kilometre 347 at about 8pm.
Emergency services were called shortly before 8pm on Thursday 22 October to kilometre 347 of the N-340 near Gualchos, after a motorcycle travelling towards Gualchos hit a goat. The 51-year-old rider died.
A 60-year-old woman riding on the same motorcycle was taken to Hospital Santa Ana in Motril for medical care. Her condition has not been reported.
Teams from Centro de Emergencias Sanitarias 061 attended with Guardia Civil de Tráfico officers. Road-maintenance personnel were also sent to the scene.
