Oques Grasses has opened the last four concerts of its Barcelona run. Each night brings 55,000 people to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, with roughly 220,000 spectators expected across the sold-out series before the band ends its 16-year career.

On Wednesday 7 October, Oques Grasses opened the first of four sold out concerts at Barcelona's Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The band will use the same 24-song repertoire on 8, 9 and 10 October before disbanding after 16 years. The first night ran for more than two hours and closed with "La gent que estimo" and "Sort de tu".

These shows bring the Catalan group face to face with an audience it built through hundreds of major local festivals over the past decade and a half. Oques Grasses paired cheerful melodies with sentiment and a light sound with deeper themes. Media coverage has tied its rise as a mass cultural phenomenon to the period after 2012, when the band became one of the leading names in contemporary music in Catalan.

Heavy rain forced the concert originally planned for 5 October to be postponed. The farewell series subsequently took place from 7 to 10 October.

The size of the farewell is clear in the venue itself. Each night is set to draw 55,000 people. All four performances sold out, with more than 200,000 tickets purchased at prices ranging from about €38.50 to €66. Across the series, roughly 220,000 spectators are expected to pass through the stadium.

Barcelona is hosting four identical performances that work as one extended goodbye rather than a standard tour stop. La Vanguardia reports that Oques Grasses became the first Catalan-language act to fill a stadium independently with 55,000 people. That puts the concerts on a bigger stage than the band's own career alone.

The setlist runs across most of the catalogue. Eight songs come from Fruit del Deliri (2024), seven from Fans del Sol (2019), five from A tope amb la vida (2021), three from Un dia no sé com (2012) and one from You Poni (2016). Digue-n'hi com vulguis (2014) is the only album without a song in the Barcelona shows.

The final concert on 10 October was scheduled for live broadcast from 20:00 to 23:00 by iCat, with coverage also planned for 3Cat, La 2 Catalunya and Ràdio 4. The broadcast was intended to extend the farewell beyond the stadium audience.

The performance starts with "Córrer pels camps" and "Petar-ho", then moves through "Sta guai", "Elefants", "Cara de cul", "Bancals", "Cançó de l'aire" and "Com està el pati". The middle section includes "Cavall estable", "John Brown", "Cul", "Passos importants", "Bambi", "Molta tralla", "Pingpong" and "Com el dia i la nit".

The closing section features "Cap amunt", "In the Night", "Bye bye", "Serem ocells", "Torno a ser jo", "La gent que estimo", "De bonesh" and "Sort de tu". The sequence moves between recent releases and earlier material, though it does not give every album the same space.

The concerts close a relationship with the public that grew through years of shared local celebrations. The final Barcelona dates also bring a personal decision by frontman Josep Montero into view. La Vanguardia reports that he plans to withdraw from public musical activity after Oques Grasses ends and live in Muntanyola. For him, the shows mark the end of the band and of his public stage career.
