Rain intensified before the night session and forced interruptions across the grounds. The Centre Court doubles contest, in which Arévalo and Pavic completed their win over Chan and Galarneau, was briefly halted. On Rogers Court, the doubles match between Arribage and Olivetti and Marozsan and Medvedev stopped early in the second set, following an interruption at the end of the first.
The quarterfinal was eventually completed, with Jódar defeating Fils 7-6(5), 6-3.
