The Audi A5, on the other hand, offers an entire range of engines: from the 2.0 TFSI gasoline engine with 150 hp to the powerful RS5 PHEV with 639 hp and acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. There are diesel and hybrid versions, as well as options with front or all-wheel drive. The A5’s dimensions are close to its competitor: 4,829 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,444 mm in height, and a trunk volume starting from 417 liters depending on the version.
The difference in price between the models is significant: the Mercedes Clase C starts at 69,800 euros, whereas the Audi A5 can be purchased from 48,900 euros. This is due not only to its status as an electric vehicle, but also to the fact that Mercedes does not yet offer gasoline or diesel versions in the new lineup. With their expected arrival, the price gap is expected to narrow.
The base trims also differ. With Audi, it's Business: 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, adaptive cruise control, and a rearview camera. Mercedes offers Avantgarde: 18-inch wheels, comfort seats, a sport steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting.
