Eva Longoria Chooses Marbella as Her New Home: A Fresh Start on the Costa del Sol. Eva Longoria has officially settled in Marbella. The actress selected a home on the Costa del Sol, creating a cozy space for her family. The villa marks a new chapter in her life.

A Star's Move: Why Spain Became Her New Home

Eva Longoria, known for her role in a popular TV series, has decided to swap the familiar surroundings of Los Angeles for the ambiance of southern Spain. After years spent between the US, Mexico, and Europe, the actress chose Marbella, a city on the Costa del Sol. The main reason for the move was concern for her son's well-being: Longoria wanted to provide a calm and harmonious environment for him to grow up in, away from the stress of American big cities.

The family bought a spacious villa surrounded by a lush garden with orange and olive trees. The house's architecture blends traditional Andalusian elements with modern features. White facades, terracotta roof tiles, and wide terraces complement the panoramic windows and open indoor spaces.

Interior and Atmosphere: A Blend of Minimalism and Comfort

The interior was redesigned by Spanish architect Nicolás Escanes, who had previously worked with Longoria. The villa, which is over 500 square meters, is decorated in light tones: white, cream, sand, and wood shades create a sense of space and tranquility. Natural materials—wood, stone, cotton—are used in the finishes, highlighting the connection with nature.

The ground floor is filled with sunlight thanks to high ceilings and glass doors leading to the pool and terrace. The kitchen has become the heart of family life: spacious, with a large island and modern appliances, it allows the hostess to stay at the center of the action even while cooking. The living room is decorated in a minimalist style, with an emphasis on textures and details: soft sofas, ceramics, books, and travel photographs.

Life in Marbella: new traditions and priorities

The house has six bedrooms, each individually decorated but unified in style. The master bedroom opens onto a terrace with sea views, while the bathrooms are spacious and feature natural stone. The property also includes a gym, sauna, and home theater, allowing the family to stay active and comfortable.

The terrace with a lounge area and pool has become a favorite spot for gatherings with friends and family dinners. Longoria notes that it's the simplicity and lack of ostentatious luxury that make life in Marbella special. Here, harmony, a relaxed pace, and closeness to nature are valued.

Community engagement and new horizons

After moving to Spain, the actress quickly became involved in the local community: she supports charity projects, organizes events, and welcomes guests from around the world. Selling her house in California marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. In Marbella, Longoria found what she was looking for: a home filled with light, tranquility, and family warmth, where every day starts with the sound of the sea and ends with cozy evenings on the terrace.
