For Sunday, June 21, 2026, the El Gordo de la Primitiva lottery drew the following winning combination: 13, 17, 23, 37 and 44, with basic number 2. Ticket holders can compare their numbers with the published result to see whether they have won a prize.
El Gordo de la Primitiva is administered by Spain’s state lottery operator, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE). Its results list the five-number combination separately from the basic number, also called the reintegro, and provide prize information by category, including the number of winning tickets and the amount awarded. The format differs from La Primitiva, which uses six basic numbers and separate complementary and reintegro numbers.
The game offers simple and multiple betting options. For a simple bet, players select five numbers from 1 to 54 and a basic number from 0 to 9. A multiple bet lets players choose up to 11 numbers in the first column, increasing the number of combinations covered. The stated cost ranges from €9 for six combinations to €693 for the maximum 462 combinations.
After a draw, ticket holders can check results through official channels, including the EL MUNDO website. How a prize is claimed depends on the amount won. Prizes under €2,000, classified as minor winnings, can be collected at authorized lottery retailers across Spain. Prizes of €2,000 or more must be claimed through financial institutions authorized by SELAE. The stated collection period for both categories is 90 days, starting the day after the last draw associated with the ticket. Unclaimed winnings expire when that period ends.
SELAE’s results service is the authoritative reference for the winning combination and the draw’s prize settlement. Its published tables show prize categories, the number of winners and payout amounts, allowing ticket holders to check their numbers and the applicable award. As EL MUNDO notes, players should consult the official SELAE result when checking their tickets.
Spain has a long tradition of national lotteries, and El Gordo de la Primitiva is known for its weekly draws and large jackpots. Its prize categories and the separate treatment of the basic number are part of the game’s structure. Sports competitions also see changes and returns, such as the recent reintroduction of the Brno circuit to the MotoGP calendar, covered in this report on the Czech Grand Prix's impact on the standings.
Lottery prizes in Spain may be subject to taxation above the applicable threshold, so winners should consider their fiscal obligations when claiming an award. Each draw gives participants the chance to win, while the official result and prize table determine each ticket’s outcome.
