LBX 2026 Update: What’s New in the Model Range
Japanese premium carmaker Lexus has unveiled the updated version of its compact LBX crossover in Spain, now available in seven different trims. First launched in 2023, the model quickly gained popularity among city car enthusiasts, thanks to its compact size, advanced technology, and the brand’s signature style. For 2026, the LBX not only gets a refreshed look but also an expanded list of standard features and a streamlined trim structure, making it easier for buyers to choose.
At the core of the new lineup is the Elegant version, now considered the benchmark for the entire series. This trim comes with 18-inch gloss-finish alloy wheels, advanced parking sensors, synthetic Tahara upholstery, a 12.3-inch Lexus Digital Cockpit instrument panel, and a Lexus System Connect multimedia system with a 9.8-inch display. For the driver’s convenience, there are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces, the Smart Entry keyless access system, facial recognition function Driver Monitor, and wireless smartphone charging. Buyers can select from three interior color schemes and nine body paint options.
Vibrant Edition Limited Series: Emphasis on Individuality
A special place in the updated range is taken by the limited Vibrant Edition, available from October 2025 to May 2026. This version stands out with its striking appearance: matte black 18-inch wheels, decorative matte black accents on the bumpers and moldings, and darkened window surrounds. The body features a two-tone scheme: a black roof paired with one of three shades—Hollywood red, Santorini white, or Detroit black. A special finish on the C-pillar and a unique front apron highlight the exclusivity of this model.
Inside the Vibrant Edition, black semi-aniline leather dominates, set off by garnet red inserts on the side bolsters, center console, and door panels. This interior creates a sense of dynamism and premium comfort. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter hybrid engine producing 136 hp, optimized for urban driving and delivering efficient fuel economy.
Configurations and prices: from base to top-of-the-line
The updated LBX 2026 starts at €33,900 for the base version. The Urban trim costs €35,300, while Elegant and Elegant Black are priced at €38,600. More advanced Emotion and Relax variants are priced at €41,000 and €43,200 respectively. The most expensive options—Cool and Omotenashi—are available for €47,000. The limited Vibrant Edition, in both standard and Black variants, starts from €43,200.
Each trim level differs not only in features but also in character: from urban to the most luxurious and high-tech versions. This approach allows you to choose a vehicle to suit your individual preferences without overpaying for unnecessary options.
Technology and Comfort: New Standards for Compact Crossovers
The updated LBX places special emphasis on integrating modern technology. In addition to the previously mentioned digital displays and multimedia systems, the car features an expanded suite of safety and driver assistance systems. These include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and an intelligent parking assistant. All these functions make operating the crossover exceptionally simple and safe, even in heavy city traffic.
The interior is designed to provide maximum comfort for both driver and passengers. Ergonomic seats, high-quality trim materials, and thoughtful sound insulation create a cozy atmosphere even on long journeys. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the LBX is easy to maneuver on narrow streets and fits effortlessly into standard parking spots.
