Celebrity Outfits at the Forqué Awards 2025: Triumphs and Missteps

Who Shined and Who Stumbled on the Madrid Red Carpet

The Forqué Awards 2025 brought together the brightest stars of cinema. Celebrities showcased their best looks. We review the evening’s most successful and most questionable outfits.

Madrid’s IFEMA Palace once again became the gathering point for Spain’s biggest film stars, as they came together for the 2025 Forqué Awards ceremony. The event’s red carpet, true to form, turned into a runway, with celebrities showcasing their meticulously chosen looks. The occasion offered yet another opportunity to dissect the night’s fashion triumphs and missteps—because like cinema, style calls for freedom, irony, and a serious approach.

Among those who undoubtedly earned applause was Leticia Dolera. She opted for a plumeti-inspired outfit, where sheer detailing served as an elegant and refined statement of freedom. Bárbara Lennie looked equally striking in a midi dress by Dries Van Noten, reminiscent of scales and paired with simple ballet flats. Her look proved that true chic requires no excess. After a recent fashion misstep, Clara Galle redeemed herself, arriving in a perfectly tailored black dress with a crop top, reaffirming her status as a rising star.

Timeless classics

Many actresses went for tried-and-true elegance. Belén Cuesta was stunning in a Carolina Herrera creation, a label also chosen by Ingrid García-Jonsson, whose look made the list of best dressed. Marta Nieto opted for an asymmetrical, deep ink-blue dress by Armani, showing impeccable taste and restraint. Ana Rujas once again proved her incredible sophistication when she chooses understated elegance.

Patricia López Arnaiz opted for a simple black sheath dress that looked incredibly striking in its simplicity. Daniel Guzmán, though not having model looks, demonstrated how a perfectly executed total black ensemble should look, exuding confidence and style. Also worth noting is the classic and understated beauty of Elena Furiase’s look, which appeared very harmonious.

Bold choices

Some guests decided to take risks—and it paid off. Carla Sofía Gascon made a confident return to the red carpet in a striking cape dress with a sheer embroidered yoke. Kira Miró turned heads in a voluminous, ruffled dress in a gray-blue hue. The most memorable tuxedo of the evening belonged not to a man, but to Mariam Álvarez, who wore it flawlessly.

Candela Peña deserves special mention. The actress, whose outfits have often sparked debate, this time wowed everyone with her look. She appeared in a luxurious red velvet tuxedo that perfectly complemented her talent, charisma, and vibrant personality. This appearance became one of the evening’s highlights.

Fashion missteps

Unfortunately, not all looks were successful. Eva Amaral’s eighties-inspired outfit appeared outdated and out of place. The choices of Concha Espejo and Bianca Kovacs raised outright bewilderment and questions for their stylists. Eva Llorach seemingly ignored the event’s dress code, and her dress was simply a miss.

Alicia Falco completed her look with gloves that clashed with the rest of her outfit. Zaira Romero’s hairstyle raised questions, and Berta Castañe’s ensemble—a collection of individually interesting pieces—came together looking more like a costume party getup. Sara Linares’ look was overloaded with details, and Julia Martínez’s canvas dress remained an enigma—whether it was art or a protest—but the end result fell flat.

Controversial Looks

Some men’s appearances also left a mixed impression. Marc Clotet, previously criticized for his questionable style, appeared elegant this time, though his suit seemed more suited for a daytime event than an evening red carpet. Hugo Welzel, with his striking appearance, chose an outfit that was too modern for such a classical event.

Álvaro Cervantes, once a style icon, has lately opted for increasingly ambiguous outfits, which haven’t always worked in his favor despite his natural charisma. Alauda Ruiz de Azúa’s look was also considered less than successful. Miriam Carlo’s outfit was labeled a clear miss, while Alba Flores continued experimenting with provocative hairstyles and military-inspired accessories, which critics say detract from her looks.
