Double Twist on MasterChef Celebrity: Farewell to One, Return of Another Contestant

Unexpected Comeback on MasterChef Celebrity: Who Returned to the Show After a Scandalous Exit

Tension in the kitchen reached its peak. One contestant left the show. But a major surprise was in store. The contestants’ fate changed once again.

The fifth episode of the tenth season of the popular cooking show MasterChef Celebrity turned out to be a real test of nerves for both contestants and viewers. The evening in the kitchens of Televisión Española was full of contrasts: some fought for the right to stay in the competition, while others got an unexpected chance to return to the game. Emotions ran high, giving the audience an unforgettable spectacle.

Everything was decided after the outdoor challenge, in which the blue team suffered defeat. This meant its members had to face an elimination round. David Amor, Torito, Alejo Sauras, and Miguel Torres put on black aprons to compete for their place in the show. Juanjo Bona, named best in the previous round, was given the power to allocate cooking time among the nominees, adding intrigue to the contest. In the end, David Amor and Torito proved to be the weakest, and their dishes drew a storm of criticism during the tasting.

It was the Galician comedian’s take on ceviche that proved fatal. His attempt to prepare a sophisticated dish resulted in complete failure. The judges did not hide their disappointment: instead of a juicy and vibrant flavor, they were served an unbalanced mix of ingredients lacking the essential citrus foundation. The verdict was unanimous and harsh—the dish did not meet the high standards of this stage of the competition. David Amor had to leave the show.

However, the dramatic events of the evening did not end there. Midway through the episode, organizers sprang a surprise by arranging a comeback competition for previously eliminated contestants. The setting for this culinary duel was the sports ground of Complutense University of Madrid, where former participants had to prove they were worthy of a second chance.

The battle for the white apron began with a troubling incident: Charo Reina was forced to withdraw due to severe heatstroke, resulting in her disqualification. The judges were equally unforgiving with the other contenders, ruthlessly eliminating Neco, Jorge Luengo, and Valeria Vegas for mistakes deemed unacceptable for chefs of this caliber. Their hopes of a triumphant return were dashed.

The final showdown came down to Maxi and renowned singer Soraya Arnelas. Both contestants exceeded expectations by presenting dishes that received high praise. But the victory went to Soraya. Her return to the show’s kitchen was enthusiastically welcomed by the many fans of the format, who had considered her elimination one of the most unfair moments of the season.
