The Costa del Sol coastline became a gathering place for the Spanish elite last Saturday. The occasion was one of the most anticipated social events of the year — the wedding of Rafael del Pino, heir to the construction empire Ferrovial, and Victoria López de la Serna, daughter of renowned gallerists. More than five hundred guests gathered in the picturesque Andalusian town of Manilva to share this special day with the newlyweds. The sunny weather added to the splendor of the celebration, which took place at the parish church of Santa Ana.
Naturally, public attention was drawn not only to the bride and groom, but also to the guests’ attire, turning the church terrace into an improvised runway. The appearance of the bride’s closest relatives drew particular interest. Her mother, Gaella de la Serna, chose a long, cherry-colored silk dress with a flowing skirt and a V-neckline for the ceremony, complementing it with metallic sandals and an original embroidered pouch bag.
Victoria’s sisters also stood out. Jimena López de la Serna made a splash in an emerald satin dress with a halter neckline that elegantly revealed her back. A matching scarf completed the look. The outfit was finished with classic black pumps and a minimalist clutch. The youngest sister, Gaella, maintained the color scheme, choosing an outfit in the same shade, but in a more youthful and daring style.
Other notable guests also shone at the event. Mencia Fitz-James Stuart, daughter of Isabel Sartorius, opted for a daring look from Rat&Boa: a sheer black dress with a vibrant floral print, thin straps and draping, paired with chunky platform sandals. Elena Cue, wife of financier Alberto Cortina, showcased impeccable taste by appearing in a sandy-colored airy dress by Elie Saab. Her look was completed with large flower-shaped earrings and metallic sheen shoes. Patricia Olmedilla, Duchess de Terranova, chose an elegant sky-blue shirtdress with voluminous sleeves and a wide belt that accentuated her waist.
Some guests decided to go for bold and unconventional choices. Adriana Marin appeared in a dark sleeveless dress adorned with a cascade of ruffles on the shoulders, waist, and hem. The highlight of her look was a pair of mules in vibrant shades of orange, fuchsia, and purple, along with a clutch shaped like a movie clapboard. Marta Barroso and Susana Alvarez Salas also added color to the overall palette: the former chose a tunic-style outfit in dark blue with contrasting yellow sleeves, while the latter wore a minimalist red dress with a knot at the chest.
