A mass-produced power module has appeared on Spain’s electric vehicle market, integrating eight key components into a single unit. The developers maintain complete control over the manufacturing process, enabling them to independently produce all essential parts for electric vehicles. This approach ensures independence from external suppliers and helps optimize the production cycle.
The new module includes the vehicle’s control unit, battery management system, electronic motor controller, power distributor, voltage converter, integrated charger, the electric motor itself, and the transmission. All these components are combined in a compact design, increasing the overall efficiency of the system.
One of the main achievements is the high energy efficiency—up to 89%. Direct connections between components minimize energy losses and improve thermal performance, resulting in better driving range. A unified cooling system simplifies the architecture, extends the lifespan of parts, and promotes more efficient resource use.
Compactness and reduced weight are further advantages. Compared to previous solutions, the size has decreased by 16% and weight by 10%. This has created more space for passengers and luggage and improved handling thanks to a lower, more centralized placement of heavy components.
Engineers also focused on reliability. By reducing the number of high-voltage cables and placing the module near the battery and charging connection points, energy losses were minimized and maintenance became simpler. Diagnostics and repairs now take less time, which is essential for urban operations.
The modular architecture allows the system to be adapted for different types of vehicles. Fewer mechanical and electronic connections speed up assembly and make scaling up production easier. This benefits both manufacturers and end users by helping to lower costs and make electric vehicles more accessible.
The launch of the new platform, combined with advanced batteries, demonstrates the companies’ commitment to developing environmentally friendly transport. Integrating innovative solutions is accelerating the shift to more sustainable and intelligent mobility—a clear trend in the Spanish market.
