The match scheduled for this evening between Real Sociedad’s reserve team and Huesca will not take place as planned. The reason for the cancellation was a sudden deterioration in the health of most players from Aragón, who have been diagnosed with an acute gastrointestinal virus.
Huesca’s management officially reported the situation, emphasizing that the players’ health was at risk. As a result, the club asked the tournament organizers to reschedule the match. The official referee of the competition under the Spanish Football Federation granted the request and ordered the postponement of the tenth round LaLiga Hypermotion fixture.
Both teams are now awaiting a new date for the match to be set. The final decision on the schedule will be made by the relevant authorities, after which the information will be made publicly available.
Huesca expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to fans, especially those who had planned to travel to San Sebastián. The club thanked supporters for their understanding and noted it would make efforts to minimize the consequences of the postponement.
It will not be possible to hold the match next week: Huesca already has a game scheduled against Las Palmas on Friday, while the San Sebastián reserves will travel to Burgos on Saturday. As such, both teams will have to agree on a new date for the rescheduled fixture amid their tight schedules.
