Gmp’s New Strategy: Launch of Truliving and Expansion in the Capital
Spanish development company Gmp has announced the creation of Truliving—a brand focused on flexible living formats with an emphasis on premium service and sustainability. As part of this initiative, the company plans to develop two major residential complexes in the Valdebebas and Sanchinarro districts of Madrid. The total investment in these projects will exceed €140 million, adding 724 new apartments to the capital’s housing stock.
Flex Living Development: New Standards and Infrastructure
Truliving offers housing designed for short- and medium-term stays, featuring a wide range of additional services. The Truliving Vallecas complex, acquired by Gmp last May, already includes modern communal spaces: a fitness center, sauna, cinema room, gastronomy area, coworking space, and a terrace with a swimming pool. The property covers 15,000 square meters and has received the Breeam Excelente certificate, confirming its high level of environmental efficiency.
Future Projects: Innovation and Resident Care
The two new residential complexes, currently in the design phase, will cover 67,000 square meters. They feature contemporary architectural solutions, energy efficiency, and premium services aimed at creating a comfortable environment for residents. The company emphasizes that Truliving is designed for those seeking modern alternatives to traditional housing and who value quality, service, and well-being.
Market response: demand for flexible housing
The growing popularity of the flex living format in Madrid is driven by increased workforce mobility, the rise of remote employment, the globalization of the labor market, as well as the influx of students and professionals from other countries. Gmp aims to take a leading position in this segment by offering housing that blends high standards, sustainability, and a sense of community.
