A scandal has erupted in the small town of Fiñana, located in the province of Almería, over a local school. One mother has reported to law enforcement that her five-year-old son has been subjected to ongoing bullying by his classmates and even teachers. According to her, these troubling incidents have been happening for the third school year in a row, and the situation has intensified again this year.
The woman claims that her son was repeatedly teased, pushed, and even locked in the bathroom. In one incident, she says another student took his lunch away. She also reported that one of the teachers would raise her voice at the boy and even physically handled him, which was a real shock for the family.
After filing a complaint with the Guardia Civil and submitting an official report, regional education authorities immediately launched an internal investigation. The school activated its anti-bullying protocol, and the school management received support and guidance from an education inspector. The administration emphasized that it does not tolerate any form of violence and insists on the importance of respect and positive relations among students.
The situation escalated further when another mother from the same school filed a complaint. She reported incidents of mocking and isolation directed at her three children, two of whom have special educational needs. This heightened concern among parents and sparked lively debate within the local community.
Authorities have pledged to thoroughly investigate each incident and take measures to prevent such cases in the future. Issues of safety and children’s psychological well-being are once again in the spotlight, with parents demanding transparency and decisive action from the school administration.
