The American e-commerce giant has introduced a new project for Spanish shoppers — Amazon Haul. This platform targets those who prefer to save money, offering millions of products priced under 20 euros. The new section is already available on the website and in the mobile app; just type “Haul” in the search bar or select the relevant menu option.
The launch of Amazon Haul in Spain is a response to the growing popularity of Asian marketplaces such as Shein, Temu, and AliExpress. In recent years, these platforms have gained the trust of Spaniards thanks to low prices and fast delivery. Now, Amazon aims to keep up by offering its own version of a budget-friendly store with reliable service.
Shoppers entering Amazon Haul will find a separate interface: their own cart, review system, and order processing. At the same time, the familiar logistics and quality guarantee remain unchanged. Notably, orders are delivered within two weeks — slightly longer than for Prime subscribers, but still faster than many competitors.
Amazon Haul was first launched in the US in autumn 2024, followed by rollouts in the UK and Germany. In these countries, the project quickly gained popularity, and now it has arrived in Spain. The main goal is to make shopping as advantageous as possible without sacrificing reliability.
Spanish customers are offered additional benefits: free shipping for orders over €15, or a flat fee of €3.50 for smaller amounts. There is also a discount system: spend over €30 and get 5% off, or over €50 for a 10% discount. This approach encourages customers to build larger orders from multiple items, reminiscent of Temu’s strategy, where bulk purchases have become the norm.
Safety and returns deserve special mention. All products are subject to mandatory checks for compliance with European standards, which is especially important for those concerned about the quality of goods from foreign platforms. If a purchase isn’t suitable, it can be returned within 15 days with minimal hassle: there’s no need to print labels or find original packaging. Simply drop the item at a collection point, such as Celeritas or Seur, and the company takes care of the rest.
Amazon Haul is clearly aiming to change Spanish shopping habits and strengthen the American platform’s position in the budget goods market. In the coming months, it will become clear how well this project can compete with Asian services that have already established a strong presence in Spain.
