In the heart of Madrid, at 18 Calle Echegaray, a club has opened that is redefining the city’s nightlife. After a year dedicated to Colombian themes, the venue has surprised guests with a new concept—now embracing the spirit of Brazil. Vivid neon lights, electrifying samba, exotic cocktails, and decor inspired by the world-famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival make it feel as if you’ve stepped right into the center of a tropical celebration.
The entrance to the club is hidden behind the door of a 19th-century shop, and once you step inside, it’s like entering another world. Colorful murals, garlands, a statue of Christ the Redeemer, and a vibe of endless festivity fill the space. Every year, the club changes its concept, and this time, Brazil was chosen—a country where energy, rhythms, and vibrant colors merge as one.
The club spans 400 square meters, with every corner thoughtfully designed. At the entrance, guests are greeted by a Bonfim ribbon photo zone, and a walkway inspired by the Sambadrome leads to the main dance floor. There, a carnival stage rises where DJs perform, setting the mood for the night. Music, decor, and lighting effects immerse you in the atmosphere of a true Brazilian celebration.
The bar menu is a story in itself. Renowned mixologist Alexis Velixar is responsible for the cocktails, creating unique drinks with tropical fruits and original presentations. For example, the “Sexo Na Praia” with Brugal Anejo rum and fruits is served in designer glassware, while the vibrant “Pitaya” captures the entire spectrum of Brazilian emotions. Each cocktail offers not just incredible taste, but a true visual spectacle.
But the entertainment here goes far beyond just drinks and music. The club regularly hosts samba master classes, carnival shows, live performances, and themed parties celebrating icons of Brazilian culture. On Sundays, there’s a “fantastic” tropical evening with live music and a laid-back vibe, and on Wednesdays, an unusual language exchange where guests can choose a flag and a language to mingle, all while enjoying Brazilian rhythms and cocktails.
The venue is also available for private events and corporate parties—perfect for celebrations of up to 100 guests. The club remains exclusive and never ceases to surprise, honoring the tradition started by Margarita Poblet, who would transform her shop every year into a themed space inspired by the country where her husband Guillermo was in hiding.
Getting to the club is easy: it’s close to the Antón Martín, Sevilla, and Sol metro stations, with numerous bus routes and a commuter train stop nearby. There are also parking options for drivers. The club is open Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, until 3:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 3:00 AM on Sundays. This is where you can feel the vibe of a Brazilian carnival without leaving Madrid and enjoy the festivities all year round.
