Last Sunday, one of the most devastating train disasters in recent years occurred on the rail line near Adamuz, northeast of Córdoba. Two high-speed trains collided on a section previously considered absolutely safe. According to preliminary reports, the tragedy claimed 41 lives and left more than a hundred injured. What is known is that after derailing, the train ended up on the opposite track, where the fatal collision occurred.
