In one of Madrid’s districts, police have detained a man suspected of creating and possessing a massive quantity of material involving minors. During a search, authorities found more than six thousand files related to child pornography. He allegedly produced some of this content himself, using hidden cameras that he installed in his own apartment and in the changing room of a municipal sports complex.
The investigation revealed that the man, now 50 years old, had previously come to the attention of law enforcement. He was first arrested in the summer of 2024, when specialists identified a user who was downloading and distributing illegal content via file-sharing services. At that time, his laptop was found to contain videos of young children in intimate situations.
Further examination of the confiscated materials showed that cameras had been installed in the bathroom and bedroom where his daughters lived. The footage included not only the girls themselves but also their friends who came over to visit. All of them are minors. It was later discovered that the man had also recorded videos in the sports complex changing room, where he took one of his daughters for swimming lessons. There, he secretly filmed while children changed before training sessions.
In September 2024, after a thorough analysis of all files, police arrested the man again. This time, they were able to identify thirteen more victims. Despite the seriousness of the charges, the court again released the suspect on his own recognizance. He is now accused of crimes related to the exploitation and corruption of minors.
