In Toledo, police have arrested a 28-year-old man suspected of producing and distributing pornographic materials using artificial intelligence. He came to the attention of law enforcement after the mother of two girls discovered an online channel publishing explicit images featuring her daughters’ faces. These pictures were created from real photographs, but modern technology was used to give them a sexualized appearance.
The investigation revealed that there were 26 female victims, some of whom were minors. All the victims were connected to each other, either as relatives, colleagues, or acquaintances. This led investigators to believe that the suspect personally knew his victims. The police soon traced the man, who had previously been in a relationship with one of the girls.
During a search of his apartment, several mobile phones were seized. One device contained photos and videos of an intimate nature, created using artificial intelligence based on real images the man found on social media. Additionally, among the files were genuine photos of one of the girls, taken with her consent, but later made publicly available without her knowledge.
Particular attention was drawn to the fact that the suspect not only distributed materials but also actively encouraged other users to create new content. On his channel, he conducted polls and votes, prompting subscribers to participate in such activities. Police are currently continuing to investigate all the circumstances of the case and are determining whether the man had any accomplices.
