A new gastronomic trend has emerged on the Barcelona waterfront: Shôko Barcelona club has introduced an exclusive cocktail priced at 1,000 euros. The drink, named Time in Your Lips, is now the most expensive in the country and has immediately drawn the attention of luxury enthusiasts.
The cocktail’s creator, mixologist Yeray Monforte, crafted the recipe using premium Gran Patrón Burdeos tequila, Louis Roederer Rosé Cristal 2022 champagne, and a special syrup infused with 25-carat liquid gold. This composition caters to those seeking unique experiences and willing to pay for exclusivity.
But the experience doesn’t end there. The cocktail is served alongside fresh Normandy oysters and beluga caviar, turning the tasting into a full-fledged gastronomic ritual. The establishment pays special attention to presentation: the arrangement of the drink and appetizers highlights the concept of pairing visual and taste pleasure.
Time in Your Lips is part of a new cocktail menu inspired by Asian traditions and modern bartending techniques. The menu also features drinks dedicated to various cities around the world, including Porn o Star Sprite, Apple Pie Fashioned, Pastor Margarita, Lychee Pisco Sour, Cheesecake Cosmopolitan, Banana Colada, Berry Mojito, and Mango Caipirinha. Most offerings are priced at around 16 euros.
Shôko Barcelona is known for its dual concept: by day it’s a restaurant with views of Barceloneta, and by night—a popular club. The interior blends elements inspired by Gaudí, curved furniture, and soft lighting, creating a seamless transition from the restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere to the dynamic energy of nighttime parties.
The club’s stage has hosted artists such as Bad Bunny, Feid, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, and Karol G, cementing Shôko’s reputation as one of the city’s premier nightlife destinations. The venue has also earned an award for environmental responsibility and is ranked among the top ten clubs in the world by The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024. Last year, the club placed fifth in this ranking.
Shôko is open daily, offering themed parties such as ‘Puro Perreo’ and ‘Pure Shôko.’ Entry fees range from 10 euros with a drink included to 8,000 euros for a VIP table for twelve. The club is located at Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 36, and is popular among both tourists and locals seeking vibrant experiences and high-quality service.
