Tuesday, November 11, will be a day filled with hope and anticipation for many residents of Spain. Today marks one of the most iconic events in the country’s gaming world—the special ‘11th day of the 11th month’ lottery draw organized by the National Organization of the Blind of Spain (ONCE). This traditional event promises not just major winnings, but also a chance to dramatically change the lives of those lucky enough to have fortune on their side.
This year, the total prize pool has reached an impressive 21 million euros. The main winner, who correctly picks the winning combination, will receive an incredible 11 million euros. But the organizers’ generosity doesn’t stop there. In addition to the main jackpot, eleven more prizes of one million euros each will be awarded. That means Spain could see twelve brand new millionaires in a single evening.
There are also a huge number of additional consolation prizes. For example, 119 tickets will each win 50,000 euros, and 1,080 participants will take home 1,200 euros. Smaller, but still pleasant sums are on offer as well: 10,800 prizes of 120 euros, 108,000 payouts of 12 euros, and over a million ticket refunds of 6 euros each. Additionally, 1,309 tickets will earn 2,000 euros each in subsequent number draws. The November draw is rightly considered one of the most generous of the year.
For those who haven’t tried their luck yet, time is running out. You can purchase the coveted ticket until 9:00 p.m. on November 11, 2025. Tickets are available at official ONCE kiosks across the country, as well as digitally on the organization’s website or via the JuegosONCE mobile app. The draw ceremony itself will begin exactly half an hour after sales close, at 9:30 p.m., and will be broadcast live on the lottery’s official online platforms.
The procedure for claiming your winnings is simple and depends on how the ticket was purchased. For tickets bought online, the winnings will be automatically credited to the user’s gaming account. If the winning ticket was purchased at a physical point of sale, prizes up to €600 can be collected there. For larger amounts, you’ll need to visit one of ONCE’s partner banks and present the undamaged ticket. It’s important to remember that the ticket must be in good condition, otherwise there may be issues with the payout.
As for taxation, winnings up to €40,000 are completely tax-free. If the amount exceeds this threshold, a 20% tax will be withheld. This upcoming draw will be the fifteenth in total. The tradition began in 2011, and since then, every November gives thousands of people hope for a miracle and turns an ordinary autumn evening into a true celebration of luck.
