The Hollywood star and his Spanish wife Alejandra Silva have made a definitive decision to tie their future to Spain. Since moving a year and a half ago, the couple has become increasingly integrated into local life, and the latest confirmation of their serious intentions is the purchase of an impressive property in Alejandra’s homeland. This move, which the actor himself described in an interview as a duty to his wife, shows that their relocation for love is both serious and long-term.
The family’s new nest is a villa known as “casa Cervigón,” located in a privileged spot on the front line of the coast by Bastiagueiro beach. This is not just a house, but a true architectural gem and one of the best examples of 1930s modernism. The building is even included in the Docomomo foundation registry, which documents and preserves buildings of the modern movement. The villa can be reached in two ways: either directly from Santa Cristina beach or by ascending the scenic Camino del Polvorín promenade.
The surroundings of the residence are no less impressive. Nearby is a historic 17th-century tower, and the promenade itself is equipped with observation decks and benches, perfect for leisurely walks. From here, you have access to the mouth of the Burgo River and children’s parks, which is especially convenient for families with kids. Just a couple of minutes’ walk from the house lies a vast pine forest visible from the windows. The Santa Cristina beach itself is a wide stretch of fine sand, almost two kilometers long, located just eight kilometers from La Coruña.
The villa’s designers paid special attention to integrating the indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape. The living room, for example, completely opens onto a covered terrace that offers a garden view, as if from a stage. The interior is organized around a central core where all the service rooms are concentrated, while the living areas, including the dining room and bedrooms, are set apart. The covered gym leads out to the swimming pool and the tennis court, which is shielded from the wind by a wall that extends from the main building. However, the main requirement for the couple, according to reports, was the presence of breathtaking ocean views, and this home fully meets their expectations. The cost of this piece of paradise is estimated at around ten million euros.
