The national lottery La Primitiva continues to give hope to thousands of Spaniards who test their luck each week in one of the country’s oldest draws. For some, it’s a chance to fulfill a long-held dream; for others, an opportunity to improve their finances; while some simply enjoy the thrill. Every Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, someone hopes that six lucky numbers will change their life forever.
During the draw held on Thursday, November 13, there was a single winner in the first category. The lucky player won €1,177,224.39. The winning ticket was purchased at lottery administration No. 5.675, located in Cantoria municipality, Almería province, at Romero Street, 30. Notably, this town is home to fewer than four thousand residents.
This time, no one managed to hit the jackpot by guessing the Special Category combination, which includes six main numbers and an additional Reintegro number. As a result, the jackpot continues to grow. It is expected that in the next draw, the winner who matches all the conditions could claim a fantastic prize of €37 million.
The winning combination in the latest draw consisted of the following numbers: 02, 06, 07, 25, 41, and 49. The additional number (Complementario) was 48, and the Reintegro number was 07. In the associated El Joker game, the winning sequence was 3 982 194.
La Primitiva is widely regarded as one of the oldest lotteries in the world. Its history began in Spain back in the 18th century. The first draw took place on December 10, 1763, during the reign of King Carlos III. The initiative came from the Marquis de Esquilache, the finance minister, who aimed to boost the state treasury without raising taxes. Over its long history, the lottery underwent changes and even temporary suspensions, before being revived in its modern format in 1985. Since then, it has remained one of the key lottery events in Spain.
To participate in the draw, you must select six unique numbers from 1 to 49. The system also automatically assigns a Reintegro number to your ticket, ranging from 0 to 9. For an extra euro, you can try your luck in the El Joker game, where a seven-digit code is randomly generated. If it matches the winning code, the ticket holder receives a prize of one million euros.
