This is Isla Margarita, also known as Isla del Pescador. It is a recreational area located between the municipalities of Cazalla de la Sierra and San Nicolás del Puerto. To reach the island, visitors must cross a picturesque wooden bridge. On the other side, a space lush with alder, willow, and elm trees unfolds. The dense canopies of these trees provide deep shade, keeping the air temperature here several degrees cooler than the surroundings. The main attraction of this location is the río Huéznar, which runs through the entire area, forming natural pools and basins with crystal-clear water.
