From September 19 to 21, 2025, the tenth VEM exhibition dedicated to electric vehicles and advanced transport technologies will take place in the heart of Madrid, at Plaza de Colón. The event is organized by the AEDIVE Association with the support of local and regional authorities, as well as specialized online platforms.
Organizers expect the number of visitors to exceed last year’s figure of 30,000. The event will bring together leading manufacturers, infrastructure providers, service companies, and government representatives to showcase the latest achievements in electric mobility.
This year, the exhibition will feature electric cars and scooters, charging stations, and services related to eco-friendly transport. More than 60 companies—including car manufacturers, charging solution providers, energy firms, and startups—will present their latest products and innovations.
The event traditionally takes place as part of European Mobility Week, an initiative of the European Commission. In 2025, the week will run from September 16 to 22, with VEM set to be one of its key highlights.
For the anniversary edition, organizers have prepared an updated brand identity that emphasizes the exhibition’s openness and modernity. The new visual concept will be used across all communications, reflecting the industry’s development and VEM’s importance as Spain’s main platform for sharing expertise and promoting electric transport.
The event is sponsored by major automotive brands and energy companies. The platinum category includes EcoMutua, Nissan, and Renault. Gold sponsors are BBVA Consumer Finance, Endesa, Iberdrola, Moeve, Octopus Energy, and Repsol. Premium sponsors include Ayvens, Cargacar, Chargeguru, Cupra, Electra, and Plugspot.
Some participants have already announced their new products. Ayvens will present rental and consulting services, Cargacar will showcase integrated charging solutions, Cupra will unveil new electrified models, while Octopus Energy will introduce Spain’s first ‘smart’ home tariff grid for electric vehicle charging, as well as the Octopus Electroverse platform for public charging stations.
The exhibition coincides with record growth in electric vehicle registrations and the expansion of the charging network across the country. Special attention is given to the success of the Moves III program, whose budget has been fully utilized in several regions, including Madrid and Galicia.
Madrid remains the leader in the number of new electric vehicles and support for green initiatives. The city is already home to innovative Hub 360 parking hubs that foster shared and electric mobility. Currently, there are two such hubs—Canalejas 360 and Recoletos 360—with eleven more set to open soon.
The anniversary edition of VEM reaffirms Madrid’s status as a center for electric transport development and invites everyone to discover the latest trends in the field.
