Around 150 guests attended the couple's 10 October 2026 wedding in Candeleda, Ávila. Barneda and Paerel kept the ceremony private while sharing selected moments online.

Around 150 relatives and friends gathered at Sandra Barneda's country property in Candeleda, Ávila, on 10 October 2026. The location sits in the Sierra de Gredos area, where Barneda owns a house and regularly retreats from television work.

The couple kept the ceremony private without vanishing from public view. Barneda posted images from the day and showed the brides' dresses on Instagram, pairing the video with Sauvignon blanc by Rosalía. Earlier, she had shared moments from the preparations before walking to the altar. Hola and Divinity later confirmed the first images of the newlyweds.

Barneda said the date 10 October 2026 was chosen for its symbolic connection with “111”: three tens and three ones, which the couple associated with a new beginning.

The wedding announcement came in July through an emotional social media message. The engagement became public at the end of that month, leaving roughly two and a half months for preparations while both women continued with demanding professional schedules.

The guest list stayed deliberately small. Barneda was 51 and Paerel 36 on the wedding day. Barneda is a television presenter and writer, while Paerel is a Dutch dancer and entrepreneur associated with the Dutch National Ballet.

Spanish and Dutch references shaped the celebration. The menu and styling drew on both countries, while Paerel's professional circle joined guests from Barneda's television and media world. Barneda has said she never imagined getting married, but her relationship with Paerel changed her view of a shared future. Following tradition, the brides did not see each other before the ceremony.

The engagement became public at the end of July, leaving the couple only about two and a half months to organise the wedding. In interviews, both women described the preparations as emotionally intense and said they spent almost the entire month before the ceremony in Spain.

Candeleda had already emerged as the couple's chosen location because it offered Barneda a familiar refuge. An earlier report examined the setting before the ceremony took place. The wedding went ahead on the grounds of Barneda's country property, tying the location to her life away from television.

Barneda's professional commitments ran almost up to the wedding. After appearing on Supervivientes All Stars on Thursday, she was seen leaving her Madrid residence with a friend and travelling to Candeleda to oversee the final arrangements. She is also associated with Supervivientes and La isla de las tentaciones.

The relationship began around 2022 after the pair met through a dating application. Their first meeting was a blind date in Paris. At the start of the relationship, Paerel lived between the Netherlands and Spain, and Barneda later proposed on Valentine's Day.

Since then, the couple has divided its life between Madrid and Amsterdam while building a shared project. The wedding formalised that stage of the relationship in front of their closest guests.

Ion Aramendi and Xuso Jones attended the ceremony. Marta Torné was also among the guests, along with Bea Archidona. Verónica Dulanto and Jorge Javier attended as well, placing the event firmly within Barneda's television and media circle without changing its private character. Infobae and El Mundo described the celebration as an intimate wedding surrounded by close relatives and friends.

Barneda and Paerel announced the plan themselves and limited the celebration to roughly 150 guests. They shared selected moments online while keeping the ceremony tied to Barneda's private life.
