Rare Photos and Family Secrets: Who Are “Chivo” and “Over” — Florentino Perez’s Sons. The family of Florentino Perez is once again in the spotlight. His sons, “Chivo” and “Over,” shun publicity, but their business decisions and rare public appearances spark curiosity. What is life like for the most private heirs of the Real Madrid president?

When Florentino Pérez's name once again made headlines—this time because of his decision regarding new elections at Real Madrid—his family also returned to the spotlight. While the public knows quite a bit about the club president and his daughter María Ángeles (“Cuchy”), his two sons, known in the family as “Chivo” and “Over,” remain in the shadows. Their rare appearances and private lifestyle have sparked a fresh wave of interest, as noted by Divinity.

Family distance

Florentino Pérez has always been adept at keeping his personal life separate from the public eye. His marriage to María Ángeles Sandoval (“Pitina”) was long and prominent, but after her passing in 2012, the family circle became even more private. The three children—María Ángeles, Florentino Jr., and Eduardo—grew up with strict rules: no press, no interviews, no public gestures alongside their father. While “Cuchy” still appears in the news thanks to her work in the restaurant business and her social connections, her brothers have seemingly disappeared into business anonymity.

Business away from the cameras

Eduardo Pérez Sandoval, known in the family as 'Over', inherited not only a passion for business from his father, but also a love for a diversity of fields. According to Divinity, he was the sole administrator of Ariadna Gateau, a company involved in the production of bread and confectionery. This choice unexpectedly brought him closer to his sister, as her career is also connected to gastronomy. But 'Over's interests do not end there: he also manages Overpesa S.L., a company working in the performing arts sector. Here, one can sense a subtle link to Florentino Sr.'s passion for cinema—he once even studied directing.

Florentino Jr., or 'Chivo', on the contrary, has always gravitated toward construction and investment. His name is associated with Peyflosa and other entities operating in real estate. In 2024, as reported by Vozpópuli, he joined the ACS group through Rosan Inversiones S.L., receiving authority from his father to manage part of the holding. In recent years, 'Chivo' has become a figure linked to the aviation business Floma Aviación, as well as to the agency 'Best Of You', which provides image consulting for football players. Among his personal contacts are such names as Álvaro Arbeloa and Karim Benzema.

Silence surrounding the heirs

Unlike their sister, both brothers avoid publicity and do not appear at events together with their father. Their names are rarely mentioned in the news, and photographs of them are a real rarity. Even in business circles, they prefer to stay in the shadows, giving no reason for discussion. According to Divinity, this strategy is a conscious choice that allows the family to maintain control over the business without attracting unnecessary attention.

Interestingly, such a separation between public and private life is not uncommon among Spanish celebrities. For example, Borja Semper, a well-known Basque politician, also found himself under public scrutiny after changes in his personal life and his move to Madrid, as recently covered in our article about his new family and cultural reality.

The Pérez family is an example of how, even in an era of complete openness, it is possible to build an almost impenetrable wall between business, personal life, and the public sphere. While Florentino Pérez continues to keep the intrigue alive around his future at Real Madrid, his sons “Chivo” and “Over” remain the most mysterious figures in this story—and perhaps that is precisely what makes them so interesting to the public.
