Spanish drivers can get behind the wheel of the CUPRA Raval Endurance for 1,641 euros down and 200 euros a month under a specific finance plan. Its official retail price in Spain is 35,010 euros before discounts. The advertised 25,490-euro price depends on manufacturer and dealer discounts, special financing, and the state’s Plan Auto+ incentive.
The monthly payment is tied to the finance plan, not the sticker price. Marca and other outlets have stressed the distinction as Spain’s EV market continues to change.
The Raval Endurance is CUPRA’s first fully electric B-segment car, built on the MEB+ platform from SEAT S.A. It shares its base with the Volkswagen ID.Polo and Skoda Epiq; all three roll out of Spanish factories. The Raval has a 211 CV motor and a 52 kWh net battery, with a WLTP range of up to 446 km. The test car, fitted with sportier wheels and trim, is rated at 395 km. Diario de Sevilla notes that 446 km is the longest WLTP range of any Raval version.
On the steep, twisting climb of Alto de la Cobertoria, the Raval Endurance showed what it can do. It lacks the limited-slip differential fitted to the VZ version, yet kept its grip and composure when pushed. Its handling recalls classic GTIs, now with electric torque and stability on tough roads. The Endurance sits between the lower-powered versions and the sportier VZ. That model offers 226 CV and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The Endurance takes 7.1 seconds, a distinction highlighted by Mundiario.
The cabin takes a different approach to luxury, with a modern, premium feel. Optional sports seats add to a design that outshines many rivals. Even the Audi A1 and MINI look dated beside it. The car measures 4.04 meters long and 1.78 meters wide, and stands 1.51 meters high. Its luggage compartment holds 441 liters. Designed for city life, it can also handle longer trips.
Standard features pair sports suspension with 18-inch wheels. The setup also includes ECS Sport mode and adaptive braking, while paddle shifters round it out. Charging is quick: the 52 kWh battery supports up to 105 kW DC, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 24 minutes. AC charging reaches up to 11 kW. Drivers on off-peak renewable tariffs can pay less than five cents per kWh. Fleet People and other industry sources report these figures.
The test lead through Asturias went beyond a technical demonstration. Stops at the Ecomuseo minero del Valle de Samuño and the stark Central Hidroeléctrica de Proaza reflected the region’s shift from coal to clean energy, echoed by the Raval’s move from combustion to electric power. Designed by Joaquín Vaquero Palacios, the hydro plant produces 110 million kWh of clean electricity each year, enough for thousands of EVs like the Raval.
Acceleration is sharp. The Endurance does 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Over 300 km of spirited driving, it averaged 18.0 kWh per 100 km, an efficient result even when driven hard.
The team also stopped at the Fernando Alonso karting circuit, where the electric karts packed a punch. The Raval Endurance makes the case for electric cars that are fun to lead on real roads, beyond what the ads promise.
The low entry payment includes a 4,500-euro advance from the Plan Auto+ incentive. After four years, buyers repay that amount to CUPRA, interest-free, under the Flex multi-option finance plan. With state support, the real cost of driving the Raval Endurance for four years is among the lowest in its class. CUPRA lists a combined price of 25,490 euros with all discounts and incentives included.
Spain’s EV scene is changing fast. Ultra-fast charging is spreading, following earlier reports of BYD’s rollout of 1,500 kW chargers.
