Chery plans to bring Exlantix to Spain in the first half of 2027, with the ES as its flagship saloon. The electric versions are quoted at up to 610km of range; Spanish pricing is expected to start near €50,000.
At 4.94 metres long, the Exlantix ES is intended to sit above Omoda and Jaecoo in Chery’s range when the new brand arrives in Spain in 2027. The launch is planned for the first half of the year, although the Spanish line-up and prices have not been confirmed.
Chery is positioning Exlantix in the premium segment. The ES is pitched against the BMW i5 and Audi A6 e-tron. The Mercedes EQE is another named rival. Chery’s wider Spanish plans also include the OMODA X programme, also planned for 2027, but Exlantix is intended to occupy a higher tier.
The ES’s fastback body has a quoted drag coefficient of 0.20. Its styling approach is called “Wind Whisper”. Flush door handles and frameless doors shape the exterior, with wheels measuring up to 21 inches. A slim light strip links the front lamps, whose ISD panels can project animations and signals onto the road.
Inside, a 15.6-inch floating display has 2.5K resolution. Nappa leather and Alcantara are among the listed finishes. Open-pore wood is also specified. The cabin gets a 23-speaker sound system, while the boot holds 396 litres, modest for a car of this size.
Buyers are expected to have a choice of two fully electric versions and two range-extender variants. The rear-wheel-lead electric model produces 313 CV and uses a 77 kWh battery. A dual-motor version produces 480 CV, with a 100 kWh NCM battery and a stated range of up to 610 kilometres.
The range-extender versions use a 41.1 kWh LFP battery and a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that generates electricity. Output is listed at 265 or 469 CV, with combined range above 1,200 kilometres. Those figures are manufacturer specifications; the source does not identify a test cycle for the range claims.
The car uses an 800-volt architecture. Maximum DC charging is listed at 420 kW for the 77 kWh battery and 297 kW for the 100 kWh version; AC charging is rated at 11 kW. The suspension combines double wishbones at the front with a multilink rear set-up. An intelligent air suspension system is said to read the road in real time.
For Spain, the price remains an estimate: it is expected to start at €50,000. A single trim level is considered likely, but Chery has not yet detailed the Spanish range.
