Gears of War E-Day and Minecraft Dungeons II are coming to Xbox Game Pass, alongside a wider selection of games for Premium users. Spanish players will see more day-one releases and fewer restrictions between subscription tiers this autumn.

Microsoft is rolling out a major update for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers in Spain, adding new titles and making more games available to Premium users. The biggest additions—Gears of War: E-Day, Minecraft Dungeons II, and Dune: Awakening—are set to keep the platform in the spotlight for Spanish gamers this autumn.

The most immediate change is the day-one launch of Gears of War: E-Day on 6 October. The game will be available at release on Xbox Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass, with support for cloud, console, handheld, and PC. Microsoft aims to reach both longtime fans and new players who want access to major releases without buying them outright. Official announcements from Microsoft and several industry sources point to this launch as a key driver for autumn subscriptions.

Minecraft Dungeons II is set to launch as a day-one Game Pass title on 29 September 2026, expanding the lineup of simultaneous releases for subscribers.

The update goes beyond headline games. Microsoft is also making several titles that were previously exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate available to Premium subscribers. These include RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana II, Routine, Ultimate Sheep Raccoon, and Ninja Gaiden 4. This change gives more Spanish players access to these games across cloud, console, handheld, and PC, reducing the gap between subscription tiers. Leading gaming outlets report that this move is part of a broader effort to add value to lower-tier plans and meet changing player expectations.

September brings a packed release schedule. RuneScape: Dragonwilds arrives on 15 September for all major Game Pass tiers. On 16 September, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana II, Routine, and Ultimate Sheep Raccoon join the Premium lineup. Kernel Hearts and Ninja Gaiden 4 follow on 17 September, with Kernel Hearts launching as a day-one Game Pass title. The week of 21 September sees Dune: Awakening and Well Dweller available from day one, while Mad King Redemption and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are set to launch soon after.

At the end of the month, Minecraft Dungeons II lands on 29 September as a day-one release, and Keeper joins the Premium catalog on 2 October. All these titles are playable across multiple platforms, reflecting Microsoft’s ongoing focus on cross-device access for Spanish users.

Microsoft continues its practice of offering a 'short window' for major releases, ensuring that several blockbuster games are available to Game Pass subscribers on their official launch day. This approach keeps the service highly competitive for players who want immediate access without paying full price.

For Spanish players, these changes mean more choice and better value without extra cost. The addition of major franchises and indie games on day one, along with fewer tier-based restrictions, benefits those who rely on Game Pass for affordable access to new releases. The timing is no accident: autumn is a busy season for gaming in Spain, and Microsoft’s content rollout is designed to keep subscribers engaged and attract new users ahead of the holidays.

Spain remains one of the fastest-growing gaming markets in Europe, and subscription services like Xbox Game Pass are central to how players discover and play new games. By expanding its catalog and lowering access barriers, Microsoft is not just reacting to competition—it is shaping what Spanish gamers expect from a subscription service. The company’s focus on simultaneous launches and cross-platform support shows it understands the local demand for flexibility and quick access. With this update, Xbox Game Pass strengthens its position in Spain’s digital entertainment market, and other platforms will need to adapt to keep up.
