The refreshed XCeed gets new styling and a dual-screen cabin. Campaigns lower its Spanish starting price to €19,860, but the regular tariff is much higher and the plug-in hybrid is gone.

Spanish buyers will see a lower figure on the showroom offer, but the regular tariff tells a different story. Kia’s refreshed XCeed starts at a promotional €19,860, with a simpler engine line-up built around petrol and 48-volt mild-hybrid versions. The Eco-labelled mild hybrid is expected to be the range’s most popular choice, partly because it costs about €1,000 more than the non-hybrid model. The standard price for the entry-level 1.0 T-GDi Concept is €27,990. The headline offer includes Kia commercial campaigns, not the regular tariff.

Petrol stays in the XCeed range, unlike some rivals. Kia’s move contrasts with the JAECOO 7’s revised range, which now consists of hybrid and plug-in models in Spain.

The range opens with a three-cylinder 115 CV 1.0 T-GDi. Basic trims pair it with a manual gearbox. The non-hybrid version gets a six-speed manual, while the 48-volt mild hybrid carries the Eco label and can be ordered with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Above those sit 150 CV and 180 CV versions of the 1.6 T-GDi, both with the 7DCT and a C label.

According to Ultima Hora, the 1.0 T-GDi reaches 100 km/h in 11.7 seconds, has a top speed of 182 km/h and averages about 5.7 litres per 100 km. The 180 CV version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

The plug-in hybrid has left the catalogue, ending electric-only driving within the XCeed range. Its previous version could travel 50 kilometres on electric power. Buyers now have no plug-in option in the model line-up.

Campaign prices run from €19,860 to €30,660, against list prices of €27,990 to €38,790. The €19,860 offer applies to the 1.0 T-GDi Concept. For the 1.0 T-GDi MHEV with automatic transmission, the Drive trim drops from €31,890 to €23,760. The Tech DCT falls from €33,690 to €25,560. Marca reports the campaign figures and separates them from regular prices.

The exterior changes start at the front, where Kia has revised the bonnet and bumpers. The grille is more restrained, and the headlights take cues from Kia’s electric models. At the rear, a revised tailgate and bumper sit beneath a new light signature intended to make the car look wider. New wheels come in 16- or 18-inch sizes, while light green joins the nine-colour palette.

The XCeed now measures 4.38 metres long, 1.5 centimetres shorter than before because of its front overhang. It is 1.83 metres wide, stands 1.49 metres tall and has a 2.65-metre wheelbase. Luggage capacity is 426 litres, or 1,378 litres with the rear seats folded. Mild-hybrid versions offer 380 litres because the 48-volt battery sits beneath the floor.

Inside, a redesigned dashboard puts two 12.3-inch screens in view. Kia has not added the separate climate-control display found in some of its other models. Depending on trim, buyers get wireless charging or Kia Connect, along with driver aids such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic braking. Higher trims add adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go and Highway Driving Assist.
