With 1.3-metre low-pressure tyres and a tubular front guard, this Niva derivative was built for difficult terrain. The example is priced at €19,999, with financing quoted at €213 a month.

The VAZ-1922 Marsh was a factory-produced conversion developed by Bronto, the Tolyatti-based specialist associated with AvtoVAZ, rather than a one-off garage project. It used Lada Niva components. Bronto replaced the standard running gear with a reinforced chassis and modified axles, along with very-low-pressure tyres. Production estimates put the total run at roughly 800–1,000 vehicles; one account cites about 350 built during the first eight years. The seller says this 2002 example has had a professional restoration and shows fewer than 1,000 km on its odometer.

The Mobile.de listing places the vehicle in Schüttorf, Lower Saxony, and sets the price at €19,999, or €213 a month through its financing proposal. For a separate Spanish-market price reference, a report on the Haval H7 launch cited a €28,000 entry price subject to discounts and financing. The two vehicles serve very different purposes.

Its defining feature is a set of low-pressure tyres measuring about 1.3 metres in diameter and 60 centimetres across. Designed for soft ground, they can tackle deep snow and marshland, as well as remote tundra. The Niva-based body has extended wheel arches, while the chassis uses modified axles reported to be derived from the UAZ-469. The Marsh was intended for work in remote terrain, including rescue and drilling operations. Hunters and Siberian workers also used it.

There is a tubular front guard as well. The headlights and rear lights were modified. Inside, the cabin has bucket seats, and the steering wheel bears the Bronto inscription. Bronto is the AvtoVAZ subsidiary associated with the Marsh and the Niva Bronto. The model was built as a specialist snow-and-marsh vehicle, rather than as a conventional road-going Niva.

Under the bonnet, the spectacle gives way to a naturally aspirated 1.7-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing about 80 hp, equivalent to 59 kW. A manual transmission and reduction gearing help the engine turn the oversized tyres at low speed on difficult terrain.

The listing describes a specialised off-roader with very low recorded mileage, but its 80 hp engine and extreme dimensions make it a poor fit for ordinary urban use. The asking price is just below €20,000, with the vehicle’s rarity reflected in its small estimated production run.
