Owners set their own rates and published listings range from €1.50 to €12 an hour. A phone-operated door device remains a prototype; portable coded key boxes are another access option.

Nodpark has launched in Granada, Málaga and Sevilla, where two founders from Granada are offering private garage bays for short-term booking. Drivers can reserve a space by the hour or for several days or weeks. The platform took more than 18 months to develop, connecting drivers who need short-term parking with privately owned spaces that might otherwise sit unused.

Javier López and Dani González spent more than 18 months developing the platform. Owners can list a space for free when it is available, set a price and provide details such as bay dimensions, entrance height, access instructions and whether a charging point is available. Drivers can search on a map or filter for immediate availability or an electric-vehicle charger.

Fit matters before a booking is made. Nodpark asks owners to provide bay dimensions and entrance clearance, details familiar to anyone comparing Ducato camper layouts. López and González told Ideal that they advise owners on pricing based on local rates and nearby public car parks. The platform also plans to introduce ratings between users.

Access can be harder in communal garages, where entry may depend on a key, remote control or code. Spanish garage-rental guidance distinguishes an individually owned parking bay from shared infrastructure such as ramps, driving lanes and access doors. The Horizontal Property Law, Ley 49/1960, is relevant when a space belongs to a homeowners’ community. Community statutes may also set rules for access or use. One option is a portable coded lockbox holding the remote for the person who booked. The founders are also developing a device that opens the door from a mobile phone without building work. It must be placed where the remote signal reaches the entrance. If the bay is too far away, placing it closer to the door would require its owner's permission.

Published rates range from €1.50 to €12 an hour, depending on location and parking conditions. Owners set their own prices, so the range reflects advertised listings, not a fixed platform rate.
