Nomade Nation’s Space conversion fits up to four people in a Fiat Ducato L3H2, with an elevating bed measuring 185 x 135 cm and a convertible dining area. Its Neo range is designed for groups of two or three.
The layouts make use of the Ducato’s regular-shaped interior and wide sliding doors, giving converters room to fit sleeping and cooking areas alongside washing facilities and storage. Introduced in 1981, the Ducato has passed through six generations. A 2026 industry overview reports about 3.5 million vehicles sold worldwide, including approximately 1.6 million chassis supplied for motorhome applications. Its range of body lengths and roof heights, front-wheel-drive layout and flexible cargo area have made it a long-established platform for camper conversions. German specialist magazine Promobil named it the most popular motorhome base vehicle for a seventeenth consecutive year in 2025.
Fiat supplies the base vans and chassis; specialist converters build the finished motorhomes, fitting them with living spaces and equipment. The van has been on the Spanish market for more than 40 years and is described as Europe’s best-selling base for motorhomes. A 2026 report by Car and Driver España put Fiat Professional’s share of Spain’s camper market at 35%, with 2,244 registrations. Stellantis Pro One, the wider commercial-vehicle group, was reported to account for 53% of new campers in Spain.
Fiat Professional offers a lower and lighter Chasis Special with a wider rear track for camper conversions. Depending on the version, the changes can free up cabin space while improving payload and stability. The conversions retain available driver-assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking. Intelligent speed assistance and lane-keeping assistance are also available.
For use when parked, Fiat Professional’s Captain Chair seats have integrated headrests, wide backrests and two armrests. Their swivel bases turn the front seats towards the central living area, connecting the cab with the camper interior.
Nomade Nation’s Space fit-out includes anthracite-coloured wooden furniture, with ceilings finished to resemble exposed beams. Insulation uses 20 mm Kaiflex. Heating comes from an Autoterm diesel unit or a Truma Combi 4D. The source gives no prices for either range.
Equipment options include fresh-water tanks of up to 160 litres with thermal protection. Buyers can choose Dometic gas or induction cookers, while the sealed bathrooms can be fitted with a Clesana dry toilet. Centralised controls use Victron or Garmin screens.
The Spanish camper market’s wider sales picture appears in an earlier market report; Nomade Nation’s offer focuses on conversion layouts rather than a stated vehicle price. Fiat Professional also provides a free Europe-wide assistance number, 00 800 342 811 11, answered in 15 languages. Its workshop network has 6,500 points, including 1,800 with resources and technicians specialising in motorhomes.
